The Lighthouse Charity is the only organisation dedicated to providing emotional, physical, and financial wellbeing support to the construction community and their families across the UK and Ireland. Their comprehensive approach to wellbeing plays a vital role in supporting those who build our world, often in high-pressure and high-risk environments, ensuring help is always available when it is needed most.
A key part of the charity’s strategy is delivering a wide range of free, proactive resources to ensure that support is accessible to everyone in the industry. These include a free and confidential 24/7 Construction Industry Helpline, live chat and text HARDHAT services, all offering guidance on a wide range of wellbeing issues. Additional support is provided through the Self Support App and Lighthouse Beacons, which create safe spaces for individuals to open up and share concerns.
The charity also runs a Wellbeing Academy that delivers a rich variety of free soft skills and leadership training via self-paced e-learning, tutor-led online sessions, and bespoke onsite courses, ensuring that support and learning are tailored to every need and learning style.
